Maybe if you were a psychologist, you could do all sorts of psychoanalysis with the paintings and what not and your research might actually be able to show us his patterns of thoughts, behaviour and emotions etc but I don't know about historical VALUE, it's not valuable to me except maybe if I could re-sell it for much higher price.
