I've seen that movie and it just didn't make any sense. What was it supposed to teach us? Them? It was stupid.

Cruise has always implied Kidman was at fault for the demise of the marriage ("Nicole knows exactly why it ended"). My theory is that her career was starting to trump his and he didn't like that. She was becoming independent of him and that was a no-no.

If there is one thing Thompson has right, it's this: "He wanted a beautiful, bright, obedient consort. She wanted a teacher." It sounds like a very familiar dilema. Oh well - he's Katie's problem now. Nicole is so much better off where she is.
