LOL, we have never been more confused, but then I doubt we've ever laughed as hard and much about total misunderstandings and situations that would put every sitcom to shame
We'd be "Excuse me?" each time we didn't understand them, but the first few times they were like "Why, what did you do?" (took us a while before we knew what they were saying, LOL)
Never heard the words "what?", "huh?" so much. They had these quaint little shops where we, US tourists, were of course eager to do some "authentic" shopping. God, turned ourselves into a friggin' tourist attraction, because I have no idea what dialect some of those people were speaking. But we had loads of unexpected fun that way.
