Well have you sought out any of the "good stuff"? If you don't look of course you won't find it.
How exactly is taking rap off the air going to solve the problems? I'm not saying that all rap music is a good example for how kids should act, but attack the real problem. For instance, if some people were better parents, they would not allow their children to imitate the unacceptable and childish behavior. I can listen to rap, but I know that if I tried half the stuff I listen to I would get an ass-whipping from my parents. Of course, there are other issues involved as well, not just parenting. If you're gonna ban rap from radio, you gotta take away every other music promoting bad behavior.
And as for white kids buying most rap albums, it is true (or at least it was) true. Here's an article that says that white males 13-17 are the leading consumers of rap albums:

And there was an article by a man named Samuels (can't remember his first name) that discussed how white male teenagers bought most rap music. I wish I could remember the book or article name...So thanks, I'm feeling just splendid
