How about those women who want to be a "virgin" again? A new membrane won't erase the fact that you've given it up already. It's absolutely stupid.

Although my grandfather, some decades ago, did perform a hymen reconstruction surgery on a girl who had never had intercourse but, well... she just stuck a glass bottle up there, it broke her hymen and the vacuum created wouldn't allow it to come out. Her parents must have been real proud when taking her to the hospital with that bottle shoved between her legs.
