Looking again it's definitely a facelift - (my mum had one too that's how I know) - you can see the fuzzy hair on the rim of her ear -normally there are no hair there, only after a face lift when the fuzzy hair have been pulled back- the fold on her earlobe could be consistant with a scar there, you can't see the horizontal scar in front of the ear because of the hair or the vertical one mid-way along the ear (you can't see the pores there so the scar is also masked)
Facelift scars in front of the ears are invisible on my mum and she told me only one of her friends has lighter scars - their ps told them to wear sunscreen on them every day to avoid that, even when staying inside in the winter
