^^^ I wondered the same thing, it's a bit controversial because what constitutes "fat" or "skinny" is pretty broad and subjective. Standards vary by culture, geography, prejudices, body image, etc.
None of these couples seem particularly mismatched to me - they look like husbands who appreciate their ladies' shapeliness and seem quite proud to be seen in public with them - and why not?
