Victoria Beckham flies back to the UK to get her hair done
Quote:
VICTORIA Beckham was having such a bad Herr day yesterday that she flew back to the UK for a re-style.
The ex-Spice Girl proved the ultimate cut—price girl after jetting 550 miles with budget airline Ryanair.
And the Queen of the WAGS looked more like Queen of the wigs as she dashed to see her favourite stylist for new hair extensions.
Arriving with her hair in a pony tail and wearing dark glasses, the FIVE-HOUR appointment she faced was obviously an emergency. [photos http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2...90832,00.html]
Victoria, 32, was horrified when pictures taken in Canada last week looked like she had developed a bare patch. [see http://www.gossiprocks.com/forum/lat...ald-patch.html]
A source said: “She was furious when pictures appeared to show her with a bald spot. She wanted it sorted out before the Portugal game.”
Salon owner Angelo Georghiou welcomed the star to the Connect Hair System Salon in Chalk Farm, North London.
He said: “We’ve been doing Victoria’s hair for six years.
“Two days ago she phoned asking if we could go out to Germany to put in a new set of hair extensions. But in the end she came to London.
“She had a full head for £1,500. That involved removing the old ones, which took two hours, and replacing them.
“They were mid-brown with blonde highlights, not as light as she has been before. Her hair is now a lot thicker. But she never had a bald spot.”
On one occasion the salon gave Posh 16-inch extensions.
She turned up shortly before midday yesterday in a chauffeur-driven BMW with blacked-out windows after landing at Stansted airport in Essex.
Posh, decked out in designer Gucci clothes and handbag, had a bodyguard and driver with her and greeted her personal assistant Jo Malloy with two pecks on the cheek in the car park.
As Posh left shortly after 5pm, an onlooker wished her good luck for the match on Saturday. She said: “OK thanks — bye.”
PA Jo said Posh was due to meet her book publishers at the swanky Sanderson Hotel in central London last night.
She would return to Baden-Baden today.
