Cruise aims for big family Friday June 23, 2006

Tom Cruise, whose fiancee Katie Holmes recently had a baby girl, says he would like to have 10 children.

"I always wanted to be a father. I remember my whole life, I wanted to be a father. So I'm hoping maybe I have 10 children," he said.

Asked how he felt about his new baby, Suri, who was born in April, Cruise said: "Very, very, very happy."

"It was the best Father's Day," he said of last weekend - Father's Day in America - which he spent with his family.
