They were talking about all this on some morning radio show I was listening to and there was speculation that Sir Paul, since he has such deep pockets, had his lawyers threaten to sue and harass any publications that would print any of the material that we're now seeing...and the tabloids simply didn't want to go there. As for the personal accounts, perhaps there were payoffs involved..??? If this is true, he must have shelled out some big bucks to keep people quiet-

Now that the divorce is on, he's basically stopped protecting Heather and her past and thus all this information is coming out...

Don't know if I believe it, but it makes sense that he would at least had some sort of idea about her sordid past... Maybe he just didn't care before because he was so in love, and now he's going after her because there's so much more at stake, namely their daughter and huge $$$.

My money's still on 'Stellaaaaaaaa' even though I think Sir Paul knew a lot more than he's letting on....
