I just read the new Augusten Burroughs book "Possible Side Effects." It's not as good as Running with Scissors, but very funny nonetheless.

But avoid "Empire Falls" at all costs - another one I just read but was depressed by. The main character was gutless, and never changed, even after 500 pages.
