People seem a lot harder on females who smoke than on males seen w/cigs in their mouths. What gives? I respect anyone's right to an opinion, but it seems silly to me to point out smoking as a sign of failure when every living human being has a weakness for something or another. I'm an ex-smoker, too, and I'm really happy that I quit. I don't think smoking looks good (something I've noticed a lot since I quit) but it doesn't occur to me to think of smokers as less than good people just because they smoke (I know not everybody thinks that, but many people do). I mean, why do people continue to eat too much when they are already obese and they know how bad that is? Why isn't everybody exercising when we all know how good it is for you? If smoking is a faliure, then so is being fat and there are WAY more fat people in this country than smokers.
