It's no secret that the weekend box office numbers were embarrassingly off for MI:3, but did anyone in Hollywood notice anything hinky going on at the ArcLight on Friday?

Hollywood, Interrupted just received an eyewitness report from a moviegoer who, while purchasing tickets for a later show that day, saw a woman in front of him in the ticket line purchase 900 tickets at a cost of just shy of $9,000 – all for the Church of Scientology!

An ArcLight guest services rep would not confirm whether or not an excessive ticket purchase like that was made, but, if anyone at a Friday screening noticed completely inappropriate cheering and shouts of “Go T.C.” during a screening, then we’ll take that as all the confirmation we need. (If you joined the cheering when the heterosexual Tom Cruise got his butt kicked by Philip Seymour Hoffman, you were in the right place).
