I'm not saying it's common. Just possible. One of many medical facts that's kept on the down low, probably because your average ignoramus would take that knowledge and run so out of control with it that there would be widespread panic. There are some standard precautions for nurses that didn't exist a few decades ago. And spitting on someone can now result in a major lawsuit.
