DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN's engagement ring from ex-fiance NIKLAS SODERBLOM is being auctioned on eBay.

The actress ended her 10 month engagement to Soderblom in October (05) and is currently engaged to singer MICHAEL BOLTON.

The 1.76 carat diamond Tiffany + Co engagement ring is for sale with bids starting at $20,000 (GBP11,400).

Soderblom says, "I am selling the ring on eBay to mark the end of a crazy ride. Why should I have this ring? I can't give it to anyone else...I don't feel funny about selling it. It will make a very nice present for someone who's a big fan of hers. I sure don't need it anymore."

Sheridan became engaged to Bolton four months after splitting with Soderblom and is now sporting an estimated 5-carat diamond worth approximately $150,000 (GBP85,700).

As of Wednesday night (12APR06) no bids had been placed on the ring, which could be due to the fact he spelt his former fiancee's name wrong in the auction listing, spelling it Nicolette, instead of Nicollette.
