Apparently fearing the loss of their prize goose and all her golden feathers to the ravages of motherhood, chubbette Britney Spears has reportedly been told by her record label to shape up, or ship out.

Motherhood is never easy on a girl, and since the birth of baby Sean Preston, Britney has piled on the pounds.To add to the problem, Spears became quickly pregnant with a second baby, and all hope of her losing the pounds before her body permanently changes is becoming a monetarily-threatening reality.

According to the Aussie tabloid NW, Britney's label told her in no uncertain terms:"Lose weight and clean up your image, or your career will be over."However, the same newspaper also reported that Britney is trying to cover up her unhappiness by eating.

We think the people who make money off the unfortunate Ms. Spears are more likely concerned about losing their primary source of income.

A source says she [Britney], "went to the supermarket one day and loaded up on chips and all sorts of chocolate bars.She brought it all home and has been chowing down like there’s no tomorrow ... She's been so depressed over Kevin and the state of her marriage that all she wants to do is eat to stop the pain."

Enjoy being a chubby little housewife and mom for awhile, Britney.You only get one chance to be a great mom, and K-Fed needs someone to keep an eye on him.
