I just finished House on Mango Street for class, next up is The Color Purple, and then The Handmaid's Tale, all for class. I won't be able to read for myself until summer, and it seems that most of the girls at work are pushing me towards Chuck Palahniuk b/c that's what they're all reading. I'm not sure I want to read him, I've read some of his stuff before and I wasn't that impressed, it seemed mostly anything to shock the audience and not much beyond that.
