Errrm, it's all that nasty shit like Korn, Linkin Park, Deftones, Slipknot.
They have slight metal influences in the vocals and riffing (albeit a lot worse, usually), but it's just lousy musicianship, angsty lyrics, and simplistic writing all around. The term comes from "neutered metal". Ozzfest is full of it.
