You don't need a coat if you're just going from the car to the building and it's a mild day out. But more importantly, who the hell is responsible for that kid's hairstyle?!? The boy himself?? If so, I love that he's allowed to make that kind of choice for himself, even if he is due for a visit to the salon. It does a kid's self-esteem good to have some control over his life, after all...
