I thought God killed a kitten every time you masturyouknowwhatted? Or at least that's what they claim at fark.com.

The religious far right is gettng out of control again. I found myself sat next to one this weekend at a dinner in DC and she spend the entire function telling me how Iran will have full nuclear capabilities within the month and how Israel and the US will have to do a first strike with these underground bunker buster nukes and how these other countries in the middle east would be shooting off these electricity disrupting missles that would disable all electrical function in all things in the US while Iran would be shooting what little nukes they had left at select targets like DC. She then went on to babble about all how we as good Chris-Chee-Yuns had to keep a full years supply of water and non-perishable food because of the electronic disruption and how Sonny Boy Jebus would return to wisk us away some time in that electricity bereft year. The Rapture would happen before the 7 years of whatever and blah, blah, blah, blah.

I listened for awhile, didn't argue with her, didn't point out that nowhere in the Bible does it mention the Rapture or any of that nonsense, before telling her all that food and whatever won't matter because being that we were in DC we'd be immediately dead from the Iranian Nukes. She got huffy and turned to her other side to start shouting about how allowing abortion in our nation was leading to the eventuality of people being euthanized for having some small genetic flaw, like Hitler did his own population and that allowing same sex unions would lead to polygamists and Nambla demanding the same rights.

Christ-Chee-Yuns (name stolen from Trading Spouses) with their huge sets of rules not in the Bible and their ability to polarize huge groups of people completely piss me off. Are they even aware of who and what it is they profess to be following?
