After Restylane or Juvederm injections there is no difference in the sensitivity of the lips. Kissing remains the same. I've had a series of 5 lip injections over the past five years. No one has ever guessed or asked if I had my upper lip done. Not my parents, siblings or best friends.
When I had my first ever injection, he did an entire 1cc of restylane because I begged him to give me that much. Normally, he would only do half of that the first time. I went to a very posh bar immediately following to show my friends. The guys loved it, offering anything and everything to kiss me
after a week, most of the puffiness disappeared.
I've had every area of my face injected, lasered and chem-peeled and an hours worth of lipo on my stomach, but the lip area is thee most sensitive of all.
