I find it amazing that none of the nurses or doctors stepped up and said fuck this, and let the family in. The hospital I worked at in Memphis, people would have gladly risked their jobs to do right by the patient because a situation as horrible and cruel as this would have been unthinkable to all the nurses I knew, regardless of their religion, etc. Maybe I just know some exceptional nurses. It can't be possible that they were unaware that this woman had family outside the door in the waiting room. Quite possibly that might be why the woman was moved to another area of the hospital, where that family wasn't. No nurse I know
wouldn't have thought the hospital was out of line for this. I wonder what the gay nurses and staff working here thought about this?
