I don't even follow this show- haven't seen a single episode. But from the start, I've thought that this was going to turn out to be a giant, pre-arranged drama and that they never really intended to get divorced. I especially think so after reading what he told In Touch:
'Jon and Kate were due to be officially divorced by the end of November - but now he claims he's had a serious change of heart. 'I regret my conduct since Kate and I separated [on June 22],' Jon tells In Touch exclusively. 'I used poor judgment in publicly socializing with other women so soon.'

If they reunite, Jon and Kate win a thousand times over: they've gotten out of their TLC contract, made themselves massive tabloid targets (and undoubtedly profited from it), taken a (wussy) 'stand' to offset the haters on TLC's exploiting the children to, and separated long enough to let any troubles between them die down. And now, after a busy summer, they can 'reunite,' leave TLC while they are still popular, and devote themselves full-time to selling speaking engagements about how their family survived, Jon 'triumphed' over sin, had an 'epiphany' and got back with Kate to form the perfect Christian family.
