she goes to the dance with the boy, and her dad is worried, and they like each other, but when she asks him if he likes her no matter what, she shows him something that freaks him out that is glowing red!

so the whole school is after her, demanding to know WHAT she is...and we know that two other kids have disappeared...I guess they were like her as well...
