The US singer, who also sends up "skinny, dumb blondes" in her latest video Stupid Girls, says: "People often refer to me as fat and it has taken a long time for me to come to terms with that.
"But I'm athletic, strong, fit and healthy."
The 26-year-old releases her new album, I'm Not Dead, next month and says it's "more personal" than anything she has done before.
