Re: Crash winning Best Motion Picture one of the biggest Academy Awards upsets
As Gene Siskel noted years ago, numerous Academy members fail
to see all the Best Picture nominees before voting; they just vote
for whatever sends the most inoffensive humane message, without
actually seeing the films. This is even though Academy members
get free copies.
