I always vowed to myself that when I had kids, I too would keep them as far away from junk food as possible (that is obviously until they were old enough to make the decision of what they want to eat) to help guide them to make healthy choices and so that they wouldn't go through what I went through as a child (being teased for being chubby because
all I ate was junk food) but the more I think about it...life's too damn short.
Let kids be kids! Let them eat chips, cupcakes, candy, pizza!
Also I wouldn't want to set my kids up on the road to an eating disorder like I've had to deal with for so many years.
