i was on holiday for 2 weeks so i had more time to read than i've had in the past few months.
i devoured
a wild sheep chase, by haruki murakami. funny, weird, smart... brilliant book, i really recommend it
the accidental by ali smith. really well written and funny and witty and a bit haunting too.
in the eye of the sun by ahdaf soueif. long but worthwhile. she's a great egyptian writer but educated in england, one of the smartest people i've read.
i re-read herman hesse's
siddartha as well. i'd forgotten how incredible it is.
