That's always a bad thing to hear, but as a breast cancer survivor myself, I would tell her that her chances of full recovery are excellent since it was caught early. Mine was. So far two years and counting!!

I sincerely hope that didn't figure into the breakup with Lance. Surely, with his own bout with cancer he wouldn't have done something like that.
