not necessarily true. there is a high incidence of lung cancer among women who have never smoked. the reasons why are not known.
and it is true that thin people can be unhealthy, but it is KNOWN that morbidly obese people are a drain on the healthcare system. they have more health conditions, it is harder to do procedures/surgery on them and have higher insurance premiums as a result.
