Everything I've heard about the book has been positive but that doesn't negate the fact that it was marketed as truth when in fact it was essentially a work of fiction. Most writers draw on autobiographical material, then embellish it to create a linear story with meaning. And they market it as fiction, not non-fiction. And Frey was part and parcel of the deception, which is simply wrong.
