I don't agree with this. As it stands I don't think children in the Western World are receiving the standard of education that they could be. Why lessen it by one day?
While 1 day less may save costs on bus fuel, it's going to cost more for families. Particularly parents who work full time and will have to pay to put their child into daycare.
Stupid. If it happens in America it is almost bound to trickle down to Australia.
