This article is vastly stupid in so many ways, but this one takes the cake.
The French had STATIC DEFENSE EMPLACEMENTS, built at the end of ww1.. it was called the maginot line. All up and down the french border with germany, up to belgium.
What did hitler do? Went through belgium, went over the maginot line and came down behind it, effectively cutting their military forces in half.
Also, I love how lack of American jingoism is (naturally) tied in with the evil elitsts and 'intelligencia' (i guess patriotic people are just bumfuck stupid?) and of course.. THE HATED FRENCH
