Rather than trying to get an entire country to do this ... he should offer his sponsorship to restaurants that offer reduced price vegetarian dishes. Good for their business, good for the environment and hell ... I'd forgo the chicken in my pasta is I was going to get a special discount for doing so.
Also, the tumbleweed post had me in stitches for a good 15 minutes. I don't even know why it's funny .. but it sho is.
