Where I live - the county I live in - divorce records are kind of public. Based on a free search, you can view any case taken to district court - child support/paternity/divorce. While not everything is viewable, but even on my own case, you can see who filed, when, the first trial for temp orders, the forms we filled out (1 Child/Child Support wages withheld, etc.), and when it was finalized.
But you dont actually see my child's name, or what the child support and settlement are.
