This is tragic, but i have to agree with another poster.
If you experience complications then you're strongly advised to seek medical help immediately. She was wise to go for a scan, but unfortunately it didn't pick anything up. However, like with every medical procedure there is a risk factor, and a patient has to listen to medical advice, as it is in their best interests and allows monitoring of the situation, and take an amount of responsibility for themselves.
