I know we have to do animal testing but watching a show on dog Whisperer about a dog who was only used for testing, no touching no kindness shown - really broke my heart.
For the most part I like my fur friends better than my human friends.. for obvious reasons - they are much kinder, never tried to rob me and love me even when I screw up.
As for the smoking remark - well I guess some people who work for PETA smoke and some don't and I don't see what that has to do with the price of tea in China.
For me PETA is a means to an end, the methods are stupid at times but it brings to light a problem. Like skinning animals while they are still a live.

I agree with pretty much everything you said
except I believe animal testing is completely unnecessary nowadays and we have statistics that prove how useless tests conducted on animals are.
