Well the United States is the leading world producer of soybeans and Corn-and two thirds of that is grown in Illiinois, Indiana, and western Ohio.
Flooded fields = lowest yield in years + highest demand in years due to ethanol production, and guess what? Get ready for even higher gas prices, and skyrocketing food prices. Corn syrup, corn oil, soy products, any animal that eats corn for feed, etc- all are going to go through the roof!
Mother Nature is such a bitch sometimes.
