What again! Didn't we hear this same news last November. Did he make the announcement? I think it's pretty sad when you need to use a relationship to create some buzz about yourself; unless of course he gave her the engagement ring for her birthday and made it official.

Doesn't anyone else find it odd that someone who professes to value privacy, mentions engagement not once, but twice! Why does he now want to marry? I sense anxiety - maybe she is ready to bolt.

If she's smart, she won't marry him. It's easier to manipulate a narcissist when you have distance (i.e. don't live with him on a regular basis). But if she does marry him, she should seek out a good prenup that would allow her to walk out with a bundle after a year of marriage.
