Ryan Seacrest actually interviewed David A. on his radio show this morning and said "I want to get your Dad a new hat". David replied "I wouldn't mind that actually". Hee!

It's funny you mentioned Anthony Callea here, A*O, because so many times David A. reminded me of him throughout the season. It's kind of ironic he's now a runner up too, though he was expected to be the winner much like Callea. I take comfort in the fact that Anthony's had a fairly strong career since his season ended in '04. I expect the same of David. He just has too much to offer to not make it in the business.
I loved the Guitar Hero clips for both guys. No surprise that I preferred Archie's. I thought it was so cool to finally see him let go and have some fun for a change. I don't think he's quite as tame as we suspected and I'm disappointed that we didn't see more of this side throughout the show.
