I'm sure David A will do just fine with plenty of interest from record companies. In fact, having the AI winner's spotlight directed away from him will give him some breathing space. Like I said upthread, in Aussie Idol the two most successful artists were runners up in the final (Shannon Noll and Anthony Calea). David C will do OK too but he's like so many other 'rocker' types I suspect he will fade as a solo artist but I could see him singing in a band.
