Yup, we watched it and both my daughter & I couldn't believe how they were just hammering David Cook, and being sooooo adoring of David Archuleta. We thought Cook did great.
Simon was on Jay Leno the other night and Jay asked him who he thought should win and Simon saidf he thought David Cook has more talent (or some statement like that....anyway he said David Cook). It came off sounding like Simon wanted Cook to win, but on the finale it was completely the opposite. I felt so bad for David Cook, he has to hear the judges rip him up, then kiss ass to Archuleta.
When it comes down to it, Cook will have a contract no matter what. He's another Chris Daughtry.
