The day she killed herself, her mom was at the dentist's....she had tried to get the kid to come with her, but the kid was determined to find out why the "boy" didn't like her any more and by that time "he" had a lot of other kids talked into bullying her online.....she called her mom at the dentist and the mom kept telling her to sign off and the kid kept saying she would.....the mom left the dentist office and by the time she got home, she and the Dad talked to the girl and thought she was settled down.....when they went up to get her for dinner...she was hanging dead.....

What more could they have done?
Well here's the thing.....
If it were my child, a 12 year old girl, she better not be talking to a 16 year old guy to begin with; that's just uncalled for and the first red flag. A 16 year old boy is FAR to old for a 12 year old girl. This tells me from the get-go that the parents weren't really that involved in the childs life. Let me have done that at 12, my parents would have beat my ass and locked me in the house....straight to school, straight home afterwards.

As for the computer.....simple solution. Lock it with a password or take it out of the home or child's reach.

Point blank....if her parents were looking after her as they should, she would have never talked to Josh, much less became involved with him on online and therefore would not have been depressed to the point of killing herself after he stopped talking to her. If you want to blame this Drew lady, you need to blame her parents too.
