As for his "type" of woman, hmm, I think if she had a pulse, he was interested Had he been young in the eighties and nineties, he might have been considered a sex addict. But then, he always downplays his image as Hollywood Casanova.

Rumor has it he really wanted to marry Julie and raise a family with her. They're both beautiful, both intelligent, politically on the same side, shared many interests (social, environmental, intelectual, political) except one: Julie did not want to put children into a world she thought had too many things going on that disgusted her (at least that was given as the major reason).
They parted as friends after an 8 year relationship, after which she starred in two more of his movies> Shampoo and Heaven Can Wait.
They still have contact and Julie said this about Warren in 2002>
