The situation with her main man didn't last long and a few harmful scandals emerged that directly and indirectly affected her career opportunities.
And, she never completely recovered and her potential was wasted.

More Famous but not as rich man: Mike Tyson (although it's debatable if he is more famous than Cosby)
Rich White Man: Donald Trump or Howard Stern

Robin Givens was never that great of an actress to me. She went from leading lady roles to doing chitlin circuit plays and doing a movie based on Wendy Williams. I could totally see Bill Cosby blackballing her when she kicked him to the curb. He would've had enough pull in the 80's and 90's to do that.

The scandals: her mom giving herpes to that ball player and Robin and her Mother looking like a controlling shrews.
She did that 20/20 interview telling the world who awful Mike was (before the world really knew) she came of looking
reallly really bad.....a gold digger.
