Most popular guesses are Common and Kanye:

Homophobia: Kanye West & Common

Kanye speaks on being "homophobic"...
Lloyd Grove of the Daily News quotes an upcoming Kanye West interview by King magazine, where he discusses his own internalized fear and discomfort with the gays .

"I'm still trying to get over my own homophobia. I still wouldn't feel comfortable at a gay bar. I wouldn't go to a gay parade. I don't know if I'm in favor of gay marriage or not."

Kanye speaking against "homohobia"...
Today, Kanye West, one of the biggest stars hip-hop comes out and says "enough, already." According to an AP report in Newsday, Kanye speaks out in an MTV special, All Eyes on Kanye West, that is scheduled to air tonight at 2230/est. "Everyone in hip-hop discriminates against gay people," he's quoted as saying, adding that on the streets, gay is "the opposite, the exact opposite word of hip-hop. ... Not just hip-hop, but America just discriminates. And I wanna just, to come on TV and just tell my rappers, just tell my friends, `Yo, stop it.'"

There's some great backstory to the report—Kanye used to be homophobic, changed his tune when he discovered that his cousin was gay—and we have to say that we're impressed.

Common...
The editors also note the positive: "It's possible that old anti-gay sentiments from the early careers of some rappers do not represent their current views on homosexuality. Case in point, U.S. rapper Common's first four albums contained some pretty rabid anti-gay lyrics. Yet in a change of heart his 2002 CD Electric Circus contains the thoughtful track titled “Between Me, You & Liberation”. In it Common speaks of a childhood friend who reveals his gayness to him, and of his own conflicting feelings in confronting his own homophobia towards his friend."
