Well a lot of women have babies in their late 30's/early 40's now without too much of a problem. Slightly higher risk but if you're healthy it's okay. I think the main thing is it can be very tiring. I know it takes it out of my friends who had children later on. And they have that for the next 18+ years. Depends what you want to plan your life I guess. I'm no expert either as I don't have or want children.
