I don't understand a lot of things in life so this is just another one of them. Let me say I have zero gaydar, it's not a thing with me so unless a same sex person asks for a date I don't consider it any of my business.
It's a double edged sword. They are pressured to come out then when they do they are put in a box as in they are no longer up for all roles, they are "gay" only, one dimentional. Before Ellen came out she had roles where she was in relationships with a guy but now .. well now I don't think she even makes movies.
If a person comes out that should be their business and come on we peons tend to think anyone in Hollywood is gay or bi... I'm oh so glad Ellen and Rosie came out because until they did I had no clue
