Hollywood Drops Panties For Awards Season
Hollywood's A-list women are being forced to go commando due to the pressure to look good at showbiz bashes. More and more famous beauties are dropping their panties in order to keep up with the fashion for skimpy posh frocks. The trend was illustrated on Monday when many female stars attending the Golden Globe awards walked down the red carpet commando. Among the knickerless stars were Desperate Housewives Teri Hatcher and Eva Longoria as well as Sin City beauty Jessica Alba and British babes Kate Beckinsale. Hatcher admitted her lack of underwear on the way into the New York ceremony, the first of Tinseltown's award season which culminates on March 5 at The Oscars. "I actually did have underwear on but I was on my way out and my daughter saw me and said, 'Mommy, your panties are showing through the dress'," explains the 42-year-old actress. "I had no choice after that but to take them off. So here I am, commando!" One fashion expert said: "The trend right now is for tighter and tighter dresses and that doesn't leave much room for underwear."
