Nicole, that's awesome you have found this wonderful classic show. That show was groundbreaking when it came out. I remember watching it as a child, and the things that were said on there are so politically incorrect by today's standards. It's such a classic show. And really, the racial comments he made weren't really out of hate, it was out of ignorance. That generation just kind of talked like that. My dad almost reminded me of Archie, and my mom was so much like Edith. That's how that generation was, THIS show was just the first one on TV that actually showed what would go on in lots of homes back then. Kicking Brady Bunch and the likes of them to the curb for their fakeness. Norman Lear, the creator of All in the Family, is a genius. He also created Maude (which showcased the women's movement) and the Jeffersons (success of black America). Awesome. If you are really curious Nicole, I believe there are season DVDs out there for sale. The first few seasons were the best.
